Help Shape Regional Priorities on Invasive Species and Climate Change
The South Central and Southwest Climate Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs) are launching Regional Invasive Species and Climate Change (RISCC) Networks to join the national RISCC network and better support managers in addressing invasive species under changing climate conditions.
What is the RISCC Network?
The RISCC is a partnership of agencies and resource managers working to address regional needs in combating invasive species. The RISCCs support managers’ information needs and fill knowledge gaps related to invasive species and climate change gaps through webinars, working groups, practitioner-informed research, and informational resources.

We’re conducting a survey to gather insights from professionals working on invasive species and/or climate change. Your responses will inform the formation and priorities of the new RISCC Networks in the South Central (NM, TX, OK, LA) and Southwest (CA, NV, UT, AZ) regions.
Who should participate?
Anyone with experience or interest in invasive species and climate change, including:
– Natural and cultural resource managers
– Conservation practitioners and research scientists
– Land management personnel
– Tribal, federal, state, and local agency staff
– Agricultural and policy specialists
Participation is voluntary and all responses will be kept confidential. At the end of the survey, you can sign up for the South Central RISCC listserv and opt in to participate in interviews and/or focus group discussions regarding priorities.
