  • 2012 SC-CSC Science Workshop Recap

    The Department of Interior’s South Central Climate Science Center (SC-CSC) invited federal and university researchers and land management representatives to participate in a science workshop on November 29-30, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas. The workshop was intended to provide an opportunity to identify near- and longer-term, high-priority SC-CSC research topics in preparation for the USGS proposal solicitation that was released on January 7, 2013 as well as for pursuing supplementary external sources of funding in the South Central United States.  This document summarizes the discussions from the workshop.

This document summarizes some of the potential project ideas that arose during the workshop discussions.


  • SC-CSC Strategic Science Plan

    The U.S. Geological Survey released the first Strategic Science Plan for the South Central Climate Science Center on July 2, 2013. The Strategic Science Plan establishes the science priorities and provides guidance on partner interactions for the SC-CSC on a 5 year horizon (2013-2018).
